  • Blackhole Recordings

Black Hole Recordings was founded in the fall of 1997. Well-known as the company of DJ Tiësto and his Magik and Space Age compilation series, Black Hole started to release their own magikal stories on vinyl.

Blood Music began full operations in Helsinki, Finland in late 2011, as an organization dedicated to the anthropological and cultural preservation of extreme metal music. The label quickly became known as the premiere go-to label for high-quality extreme metal vinyl - turning the heads of the entire scene with the deluxe 7-LP discography of Strapping Young Lad, followed up by the 14-LP Moonsorrow box set (the largest extreme metal box set of all-time). Operations were expanded into North America, and Blood Music took on early vinyl pressings of 'unbroken' bands who later exploded with Blood Music's help - Ne Obliviscaris, Beyond Creation, Nightbringer, and Aquilus. The label took an unpredictable shift upon signing the fledgling dark electro artist Perturbator. Blood Music and Perturbator's first album release together did more than 10,000 units in direct-to-public sales. The label has continued its quest in breaking first-time, innovative artists from inside and outside metal - and has continued to expand its collaboration with everything from dark electro to technical death metal to soothing ambient to orchestral works to groundbreaking indie rock. Blood Music maintains what is perhaps one of the most active label webshops in the metal community and keeps an extremely strong connection with its open-minded fanbase.
  • Bloodshot Records

Since 1994, Bloodshot Records has championed music that lurks between genres. We’ve always been drawn to the good stuff nestled in the dark, nebulous cracks where punk, country, soul, pop, bluegrass, blues & rock mix & mingle & mutate. We like artists who work over American roots forms with chains & velvet gloves with little regard for formality or protocol, who aren’t afraid to molest & caress these forms & take music into uncharted, exciting waters. They don’t listen to the taste-makers or trend-watchers. What we all share is a punk/DIY ethic of expression; we all appreciate that music is only innovative & interesting when you’re willing to take chances with it, to follow your instincts.
